Founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1948, Honda Motor Co., Ltd is the biggest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. As the only Chinese corporation that technically cooperates with Honda company, China Jialing Group has been cooperating with Honda company since 1981 in the field of motorcycle, and some products are granted the united brand JIALING-HONDA.

In Sep.15th,1979,Jialing successfully developed the first CJ50 model motorcycle.

In Dec.10th,1981, China Jialing Group and Honda company signed the Technical Cooperation Contract No.JH8101 in Japan to technically modify CJ50 model motorcycle developed by Jialing, which symbolized the official start of friendly cooperation between Jialing and Honda.

In Oct.29th,1983, China Jialing Group and Honda company signed the Technical Cooperation Contract No.JH8302 to introduce the 70cc motorcycle technology to Jialing.

In Apr., 1983, Jialing introduced in the inspection equipment and special machine tool from Honda company, and built the Jialing motorcycle testing station with Honda technology.

In Jan.1st, 1984, the CJ50 model motorcycle produced by China Jialing Group was launched into market using the united brand JIALING-HONDA.

In Feb.21st, 1987 ,the 70-125cc engine production line with Honda technology was completed, which became the largest engine production line in Asia at that time.

In Oct.21st,1989 in Jialing, China Jialing Group signed the Technical Cooperation Contract No.JH8903 with Honda company and introduced in and developed the first on-road cross-country motorcycle model JH125GY

In Jul.13th, 1993, in the Nanping Economic and Technical Development Zone of Chongqing, a foundation was laid for the joint venture Jialing-Honda Engine Co.,Ltd, symbolizing Jialing and Honda came into the stage of capital cooperation.

In Nov.8th, 1994, the 70/125cc motorcycle carburetor production line introduced from Honda by Jialing came into production.

In Apr.4th, 1996, the 90-125cc engine production line with the key equipment introduced from Honda company came into production.

In Feb.28th, 1998,China Jialing Group signed the Technical Cooperation Contract No.JH9804 with Honda company,and introduced in TACT50 and CH125 model scooters,which symbolized that jialing and Honda's technical cooperation had been expanded from motorcycle,air-cooling technology to scooter and water-cooling technology.

During Oct.3rd to 8th,1998,a delegation led by president of Jialing joined in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Honda company in Japan, and the two parts reached a common will of further cooperation.

In Dec.15th, 2001,China Jialing Group celebrated the 20th anniversary of Jialing-Honda cooperation,and a delegation of 40 people led by president of Honda company presented at the celebration.At the same time,Jialing and Honda signed the Agreement on the Reinforcement of Cooperative Relationship and the Agreement on the Cooperation of General Gasoline Engines,which started the second cooperation field--general machine product.

In Mar.2006, China Jialing Group applied the operation concept of Honda company and deeply carried out the JQU activity to continuously improve the quality of its products.
